Transitional Studies
Students found to be deficient in English or math through the COMPASS test may be required to enroll in one or two transitional studies courses. Such courses are charged at the normal per-credit charge for course work. Students enrolled in transitional studies classes may be required to take from four to eight credits in addition to the requirements of their program of study. Transitional studies courses are not applied to the credits required for graduation. All transitional studies courses must be completed by the end of the student's third quarter of study.

Tutorials
Students who require less formalized transitional programs or are in need of tutorial assistance in any course may be required to participate in computer-based, peer, or faculty-assisted tutorial programs.
