This six-session program teaches the basics of creating Web pages using Adobe Photoshop CS3, Flash CS3, and Macromedia Dreamweaver CS3. You’ll learn the different Web graphic formats and understand the use of Adobe Photoshop to optimize graphics for use on the Web. You will also create basic graphic elements such as backgrounds, graphical text, animated GIFs, and buttons with rollovers. This certificate combines the workshops in Adobe Photoshop for the Web CS3, Introduction to Flash CS3, and Introduction to Dreamweaver CS3.

Adobe Photoshop for the Web
2 Saturdays: February 21 & 28

Instructor: Ashley Peel
Learn how to design simple Web pages using Adobe Photoshop. In this workshop you will produce basic graphical elements such as backgrounds, graphical text, animated GIFs, and buttons. This workshop requires that students have a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop.

Introduction to Dreamweaver CS3
Saturday & Sunday:  March 7 & 8

Dreamweaver offers visual layout tools, Web application development, and code-editing in one integrated software program to create professional-looking Web sites. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of this easy, powerful tool so you can create, build, and manage Web sites and Internet applications in a single environment.  

Introduction to Flash CS3
Saturday & Sunday:  March 14 & 15
9:30 – 4:00     $225
Instructor: Tim Dempski
With Flash, you can create graphics, animation, and interactive content. In this workshop, you’ll use Flash to create graphics, import images, and use several animation techniques including motion tweens, shape tweens, animated masks, and motion guide layers. You will also learn how to create a simple interactive portfolio site using external Flash files, buttons, and basic ActionScript (the built-in scripting language).
